About
Being a Denver-born bartender, I have seen the landscape of the profession changing drastically over the years. I fell in love with craft cocktails while at “The Green Russell”. Honing my craft through dedication and a lot of “meh” cocktails, the best cocktail that I make is the one you enjoy the most.
The Inspiration
The inspiration for this cocktail comes from a classic, but instead of the traditional muddling preparation, I chose to create a simple syrup that enforces the same flavor profile. As far as presenting the cocktail, I envision allowing the guest to prepare at the table-side with the red wine being introduced via the absinthe drip apparatus.
